How long does it take for all your gaps to close.?

I got braces one week ago tommorw.

and i was wondering how long it would take just for all the gaps to close.

Hello, Mouths, people and teeth are like fingerprints, no two are alike. The time it takes to close a tooth gap is dependant first on how wide it is, second, what type a appliance is used to close the gap and third how aggressive the closure procedure is attempted. I have seen gaps close in six weeks and then again I've seen it take as much as sixteen weeks and that was for relatively simple cases . Your DDS is the best source to get the information from that your asking about. Without actually seeing the gap and the dental appliance being used to close it, I nor anyone else can predict the closure time. Good luck and I wish you well.
