  1. for people like you, I make sure that I accelerate your lease, once you are in default, and then I post it to the credit bureau, so the new landlord you are trying to find, while you are s******g me, will see what you just did to me. If you still get lucky and find a new place I will eventually find your new landlord, and let them know what you did, so that if you falsified information on your credit ap, your new landlord will have the option, of keeping your deposit and evicting you for falsifying information on the credit application.

  2. It can take a month or so.   Credit reports are not refreshed daily.   It also depends on when the court house reported it.

  3. It depends on when the agencies get the court records.

  4. Civil judgments can show up within 30 days of the judgment date and it depends on how often the city government where you were evicted turns in credit information. You should also expect to see a collection hit your credit report if your landlord is sending you to collections to recoup the money you owe, including attorney fees, late fees, termination and relet fees, as well as a nice amount tacked on for the collection agency.

Find a place quick, and I hope you like it.  You'll be living there a long time.  This is going to drop your credit score at least 75 points and will be on there for 7 years or more.

  5. The length of time for it to show depends how quickly the landlord sends in the report.

Most likely it will be on your credit report already.

  6. Most state's court records can be searched on-line for free.

I can look up the housing court cases within days of filing. Court records are updated daily. If you received a judgment this morning, I can find it in-line either that noght or the next day.

If you were evicted, the court record is already accessible, either via a personal search at the court house or on-line.
