  1. If it’s a dwarf orange tree it should start flowering and producing fruit as soon as it gets established. If it is indoors you will have to pollinate it yourself with a tiny natural hair artists brush by touching the anther with the brush to get the pollen and then touching the stigma. If the stigma is not sticky you can apply a small amount of sugar water to the stigma of each open flower before applying the pollen - each flower should be pollinated more than once – on consecutive days.

If the tree is planted outside in the ground and is a standard size tree – it will not begin to produce fruit until it is mature and well taken care of - which can take years.

  2. Depends on your climate but in a temperate climate it can take up to 5 years before any large amount of fruit sets. Citrus trees grow to a very old age so waiting for this time is worth it in the end. Keep it weed free, watered as needed and not too much spraying. Good luck.

  3. according to the type and how old it is now.

from seed it will take about 4-5 years fo most verieties to fuit in the tropics. if in a pot it may take 5 to 6 and if left outside in wintes that experience some freezes it will grow slower and take about another years or two to reach a fruiting height.

if grown from seed found in an orange it will take longer to fruit and may never fruit because it is a hybrid verity made for bette fruit for the parent plant and resulting in less frequent fruit for the babies

  4. About 3-4 years and ;make sure it doesn't get exposed to frost in the winter.  How old was the tree when you bought it?
