  1. my mom works at a Pearl (optical) and it takes her typically anywhere from 3-10 days. she tells the paitent 1 or 2 wks depending on where she is ordering them from and how. (faxing/mailing)

  2. I just ordered mine today, and they said about a week.

  3. It depends entirely on where you go...some places may have what you need in stock, some won't.

If they have to be ordered, some places take a few days to come in, some get them the next day...

You will have to ask the place where you are going how long it takes them...it isn't the same all over.

  4. It usually depends on if you have a common prescription.  I have horrible eyesight, so they don't normally stock my level.  Normally it'll take about a week for them to come in.  The few doctors that I've been to do have a rather large stock of lower prescription.

Sometimes it's cheaper to get them from 1-800-CONTACTS and when I've ordered from them, it's taken less than 2 weeks to come in.
