  1. You do need to ask the military because they would have (ALL) the answers for you for sure! First If you two are married and he is going to school he should be going on base. you should be able to move or go to the base with him. Your benefits will not kick in at all till all the proper paper work is put in. He needs to fill everything out, then when the child is born that is more paperwork for those benefits. wish you all well Happy Thanksgiving and have a healthy and safe trip. Also it depends on the wars if they need people and how bad of situations are there no one person  knows how long someone will be gone or the timing of anybody to be here and there.especially with the military right now the way things are going.

  2. Generally AIT is 8-16 weeks.  Anything longer generally requires you to up for more than 4 years.

You're talking LVN school or something that takes half a year.

Generally its 2 months or less for an MOS education, then 6 months OJT at your first regular assigned station.

That's a good trade, by the way.  After 3 1/2 years work in that field you can come out and take a few college courses and pass your contractors exam.

  3. It depends on the branch of servive.  I went through the Navy electrical A school in 8 months.  Call your local Marine Recruiter and find out.

  4. You need to put this question under military not homeschooling.

Each MOS has a different length of school time. If he leaves Christmas Eve for school then my best guess is NO he won't be home for your due date. You need to talk to your husband and see if he has signed your up for Tricare Prime yet and if he has then get the number from him and call and see what you need to do. You aren't going to be with him while he's schooling so you will be given a choice of doctors where you live and then you pick one and go from there. One more thing.....he needs to sign you up for dental too....I think we pay $25 a month for our family of 4. It is worth it.

If you have any more questions you can email me if you choose. Is he marine, army, air force, or navy??? That will make a difference on some of the answers you recieve because each are different in the way they do things!

Good luck to you and your new life!
