How long does it take for flight feathers on a budgie that have been clipped to grow back?

My dear little budgie Carina went to Budgie Heaven last week. She was ill and the four hour round trip to the nearest Avian Vet was too much for her. I got her mate Branwed a new flock member so he would not be alone. The new guy came from the pet shop, he or she is a juvenile so I don't want him out of the cage during fly time until he can fly in case Bran gets too playful, I want him to be able to fly away if he needs to. Bran seems to be taking to "Habebe" (little one) but I want to be on the safe side. Thanks for any help!

it takes around 3 or 4 months to grow back cut feathers sometimes longer.
