Today me and my friend decided to make tye dye shrits and were just two idiots together so we just put our hands in the bucket of red dye for kicks. We fully did with knowledge of it staying for a little while, and its not that big of a deal really, were just two freaky kids (LOL), but I wanted to know about how long it would actually take for it to wash away.

Anyone know?

  1. If it's deep in the skin it could take a while - a week or two.

You could remove some of it from your hands with laundry bleach... go easy though, this will dry and damage your skin if you use too much of it. Dab it on then rinse it off.

If you're leery of using straight bleach you can use Comet cleanser or dishwasher detergent, both of which have some bleach in them.

Some of the "Oxy" type cleaners use a non-chlorine bleach so can remove stains too and might be less harsh than chlorine bleach.
