How long does it take for lemon seeds to be sun dried?

I live in Florida, and I need to know how many days it takes a lemon seed to be sun dried and ready to be put in soil. I'm not talking about store bought seeds. The ones right out of the lemon.

  1. DON'T dry them. Drying them will kill the embryos. You want to only wash them clean and then dry for a few hours between paper towels for a few hours before planting. Plant 1" deep in moist, not wet, potting mix and keep them in a warm bright spot.
