A week maybe two.  The best way to get a job at a fast food place is to go in and talk to the General Manager.  Do this between 8a.m. and 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. and 4p.m.  Any other time would make you look very bad.

if they have not called in three days they dont need you. Well if at first you dont succeed try try again, but dont try there again. Next try to focus on something a bit different, maybe Try Burger King atleast they flame broil.

Around here Burger King is leagues above MC Ds. So keep up the good work, keep trying, and maybe they will recognize your good talents.

That can depend on when you turn in your appliction  compared to when the hiring mgr is available.

Tips:  When turning in an application always hand it to a mgr not a regular employee.

When you turn it in ask "When might I hear something on this"

After a few days if you haven't heard anything call the place you are seeking employment or go back in person and talk to a mgr.  Some places want to see if you care enough about getting a job to check back in.

I will tell you what I told my daughter and it works!  You need to call and let them know that you applied and are still interested. If you applied online you must call them to retrieve your application anyway.  Call and just put a bug in their ear. Ask for their manager.........McDonalds always needs someone, get real.  Call them girl and Good luck!

Go there between 9 and 5 and ask for the hiring manager and ask if there are any openings. 99 % of the time he will hire you on the spot, as there are always openings and they are always looking to add more people onto the schedule to cover other peoples days off.
