How long does it take for roaches to hatch?

i went to visit a friend in nc who unexpectingly has roaches and im worried about my stuff carrying roaches to my house and checked all my bags outside and saw two roaches crawling out. now they have been sitting outside with all my stuff in it for 2 days,and i sprayed bug spray in it and left the bags closed.i don't know whatelse to do. I heard you can't see the eggs so i figured id wait to bring my bags in the house until i know they'll be hatched and kill them all before i let my stuff in...unless anyone else has some other advice to give? im afraid to get rid of all my stuff because its alot of stuff to just throw away. help please??
