I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I've been lucky enough to not get any stretch marks on my belly, however I got them pretty bad on my hips and b*****s...No more string bikinis for me :( Anyway, how long is it gonna take for them to fade and is there anything or any products I can use that'll make the process go faster?

  1. Two of the best creams you can get are Bio-oil and Palmers Coco butter..

They key is to keep the strecthing areas well moisturised and covered in vitamin E (which these two creams have)

I have been using both from the start of my pregnancy and I have to say they have not made much a difference. I have a good few on my bump and hips and actually on my sides where my ribs are.. dont get me wrong they make my skin feel nice and soft but i really havent noticed much of a difference, some of them have kinda gone a silvery colour, thats about it!

All these creams are doin is puttin a dent in my purse! Stretchmarks are genetic and there really is no miracle cure :(

  2. Fresh stretch marks appear initially as red lines and then slowly fade to a pale white color over the course of several months. Below is the link regarding Stretch Marks.

  3. unfortunately they will never go away!

they get less noticeable about 6-12 months time but they're never great!

  4. Just keep them moisturized and i use vitamin e oil. but they can take up to a yr to fade or so.

  5. Stretch Marks suck... I don't think that there is anything that will make them fade faster for you.. I think I tried all the home remedies for mine and none of them worked.. It can take quite a while for them to fade.. 1-2 years on average.. luckily you didn't get the on your tummy..
