I recently filed petitions for my parents in the Philippines and have been received by the National Visa Center. What is the estimate timeframe to have their visas processed?

  1. At the moment, the NVC is taking about 6 months to process approved petitions after they receive them from the USCIS adjudication centers in California and Vermont. They aslo schedule interviews in Manila once the petitions have been processed. How long it takes is also dependent on how long it takes you to send the Affidavit of Support and the processing fees, so send those in as soon as you get the request, but make sure you get them right or they'll have to send them back to you for another try.

  2. About 7 months at California Service Center

About 1 year at Vermont Service Center
