How long does it take for the average cumulus cloud to disperse?

Sorry, there's no straightforward answer.

It depends on the cloud size, altitude, air temperature humidity and density and windspeeds.

These are not the only factors: latitude, day or night, and whether there are more clouds above also have an effect and this is by no means an exhaustive list. Even sun-spot activity may affect dispersal and what's below the cloud definitely has a bearing (Is it sea or land? Is the land rising or falling as the cloud passes over it? Is it city, forest, or farmland?)

An average prediction can be made for an individual cumulus based on  all this data, but not a generalised average.
