How long does it take for the fat to go away after u have a baby?

depends... if you exercise or not... it doesn't go away with just a snap of your fingers... it took me 2 months to loose the weight, my friend took a year, my sister never lost the weight. so it depends

It goes away?!?! LOL, that's news to me 8 1/2 months later.

I can't say, the only thing I can say is too bad your not BF lol, I am back to pre-baby weight eating chocolate anything, and hamburgers ( I still crave junk). just eat right and go for walks with your LO.

well if you work at it not long I lost all my baby fat with my daughter in 2 months but if you dont work at it and dont eat healthy it could take years if ever!!  Good luck to you.

I suspect it depends on your metabolism.  I gained ALOT of weight with my 2 kids but then lost it all within a few weeks.  I have always been slightly underweight however.  Also I breastfed so that might be a factor.

it's up to you. Some people never lose the weight because they don't try. You have to eat healthy and exercise most of the time. If you need any help with that feel free to contact me. I love eating healthy and i know how to make myself lose the weight. Have done it two times with two of my children. And it is my Passion in life i am thinking about doing it as a profession to be a nutritionist.

well a lot of women just let themselves go when they're pregnant and then have a really hard time losing it. if you are active and eat healthy during pregnancy and after pregnancy than it is so easy to lose the weight. i gained 35 pounds and lost it all within a few weeks. it can be lost if you work at it!

Depends on if you exercise, and eat right.  If your skin stretched at all, and sometimes even if it didn't, you may always have what I like to call "babys gift to mommy", the belly pooch.
