How long does it take for the pill to kick in?

I started taking the pill about a pack and a half ago. does that mean i'm good now and I don't have to worry about getting pregnant

  2. MOST pills take at least a month of continuous and scheduled taking to be effective against preventing pregnancy. But you should double check the info on your type of medication. I'd try webmd.com.

  3. The pill no matter how long you have been on it...is not fool proof. You CAN still get pregnant on the pill. It does in most cases lower your chances. It usually takes 6 weeks for the pill to be fully effective but all cases vary. Take the extra step and still use a condom for your own safety, and to lower the chances of you concieving.
