How long does it take for the police to know you have a warrant in another state ?

how long does it take the police to know you are wanted in another state when doing a nationwide warrant check???

It depends on what the warrant is for.  Minor warrants may not be entered into the NCIC database therefore will not show up in another state.  Most warrants, however, will show up as soon as an officer runs your name and dob.

Actually its only traffic warrants that dont get entered into the system. But any other warrant will, and appx 1-2 min after we get your drivers license or name we will know

if you get arrested by another states police officer then when your info is put in the warrant will come up as record found and will say you have a warrant then most probably get sent back to the original state that the warrant was issued in.
