My son is almost 12 months his birthday party is on Sept 7th. I want him to be better by then. He is on the medicine called Nystatin I give it to him 4 times a day as the doctor said to give it to him. It looks better then when it did when I took him to the doctor on Wed the 27th. Anyone know how long it takes to clear up??

Thanks in advance

  1. For some reason Nystatin doesn't work very well, I know a lot of moms will tel you that. It helps clear up some of the thrush but not completely. I used that on my baby and it didn't completely go away so our doctor gave us Flucanazole, its a liquid you swipe all over the inside of their mouth.  It worked great and went away in about 2 to 3 days. Good luck

  2. 2 of my 3 kids had thrush and Nystatin worked fine but did take about a week. Wish I had known of something that worked faster at the time. Happy Birthday to your little guy.
