How long does it take from NW London to Heathrow?

I'm in Golders Green. How long do you think it would take to get to Heathrow by cab, on a Friday morning?

Or do you know a website that might give an estimate?

30 minutes depending the EXACT time you leave.

Tube would be much better

depends on the time of day but leave an hour - ask your local cab firm.

if taking the train try journey planner.

Take the tube. Much better option. Esp on Friday morning peak hour. Cause you have to negotiate the north circular and the M4.

Trust me, you are asking for trouble going by cab.

If you MUST, I would allow 1 hour driving time. Seriously.

I live at Willesden Green, about 15 mins closer to the airport than Golders Green, and it normally takes us about 45 mins.

So all up you're looking at about an hour, probably add another 30mins if you're travelling any time between 8am and 10am though.

And we pay about £20-25 for the trip, so you shouldn't be paying any more than £30 in a black cab I'd say...

completely depends what time. I'd say just over an hour at the best time, and up to 3 hours during rush hour.
