How long does it take in the mail for letters or small packages to get to Algeria from the United States ?

I am wanting to send a letter or very small package to Algeria.Does anyone know how long it takes for stuff to get there ? And are there any restrictions or requirements or anything concerning mail going there ?

You should check the USPS website for country restrictions for Algeria...each country has a variety of things they don't allow in the mail. It takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months for a package to get to Morocco, which is right next door. I think it depends on the political climate, the postal security of the country (inspection process) and if it is anywhere near Ramadan it's probably going to get delayed---before Ramadan there is a rush of packages, and during Ramadan the hours of postal service will be cut back.
