So, after a long summer full of pot smoking i have made the decision today to quit. Over the last year i have smoked plenty of weed and am now curious as to how long it will take for it to fully leave my body. From september to march i probly smoked about once or twice a week, sometimes more. from april to late may i smoke probly around 3 times a week. And through the summer i have been smoking about 5, 6 or 7 days out of the week, and usually a few times a day when i did. Recently i have become depressed, more dumb (being as i was always a pretty smart kid), my memory is pretty much gone and i have an extreme motivation to be as lazy as possible, and my eating routine has been totally ******, not to menton how out of shape i have become. Lastly, i am 3 months away from turning 17 and have really just begun puberty. I first developed some pubic hair back around may and have grown an inch or two, but since then nothig has really changed, i have the same amount of pubic hair(very little) and still have very childish shoulders, no real muscle no armpit hair, no facial hair and no deep voice. I've read that marijuana can weaken testosterone levels but no one seems to know the real truth. So please excuse me for writing so much but i just wanted to get everything out. and now if there is any knowledgable person out there that can give me reliable unbiased advise please let me know how long it will take may body to fully drain all the marijuana and if its possible that the weed could have been holding me back puberty-wise. And please, if you arent knowledgable on the topic please dont post to tell me that weed sucks and i am an idiot for smoking. Thankyou so much to anyone that can offer me some help

  1. Yeah, about a month to quit the body but you'll still feel a bit funny for some time while your brain etc get used to being 'normal' again.  You only had it over a year so you shouldn't end up too badly off although it affects people differently.  I doubt it's had any effect on your pubes etc that's more hereditary I think.  You sound late with puberty even taking into account your pot smoking career.  I don't know all the cons to smoking it, you can research them yourself on the internet.  Your slackness, memory etc is pretty normal for a pot smoker or teenager for that matter.  If you can manage it, go see your doctor for a general health checkup and ask about the puberty thing etc so you can rule out anything nasty.  If you sit around and do nothing and don't excercise and start eating better you'll s***w your body even more.

The longer you slack off the harder it is to get going again.  Do it slowly, but get off your **** and do it.  You CAN do it.

  2. well it will stay in your system for about a month. unless you go to GNC an buy a certain tea that will knock it right out, if you ask them about it they will help you find what you're looking for. the tea can run for 50 dollars. If you're looking for something cheaper... drink ALOT of cranberry juice and water. Cranberry juice works as a detox. it will clean you right out. I usually drink like 2 gallons of it within a day or two. you might get loose bowel movements for a day or so but it works.
