How long does it take me to get a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?

I'm 16 yrs old and i started doin bjj about 6 or 7 months ago.How long should it take me to get my blue belt?

  1. Well it depends on you & how well train you are. It's like saying "How long does it take to be a Captain in the US Army?" It depends how good are you & years of training.

  2. I was told a blue belt usually takes 2 years on average. Ofcourse that depends on how much you train, and how consistent you are. Keep training hard. Good luck.

  5. Americans cant get Blue Belts in BJJ becasue the Gracies hate yanks.

  6. A blue belt in Gracie jujitsu should take about a year of hard work. Coarse other places give them out faster. Ypu have to make sure you get one from a good place because some places just hand them out giving you false confidents.

  7. Between six months and two years.

  8. Depends on the amount of mat time your putting in. 4-5xweek maybe 6 months, 3-4x week maybe a year, 2-3xweek maybe 2-3 years. It's ALL about mat time!!!
