  1. A play money sit-and-go tournament of 45 people usually takes an hour, but the last table can drag it out to close to two hours.

I'd expect a real money sit-and-go tournament of 45 people to take closer to two hours.

The free-play tournaments of 8,000-12,000 people will easily take three hours to five hours.

Huge tournaments like this with money on the line will tend to go longer.

You can play a turbo tournament - blinds increase every 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes - and expect to finish within two hours.

With tens or hundreds of thousands of people playing at any time, you have a wide variety of sit-and-go games, sit-and-go tournaments and other pre-scheduled tournaments, whether you are playing for free or use deposited funds.

  2. Too general of a question.  You can get anywhere from 2 players (a heads up SNG) to 12000 players (Hubble's NL Hold Em freeroll).

    Be more specific.

  3. Yeah,

The answer to this can vary as the other guy mentioned.  A single table tourney can be completed in generally under an hour.  Many of the tourneys I play though include about 1000-2000 players, if not more.  These tourneys (and I finished 3rd one time) can literally last 8-9 hours.  I spent an entire Sunday (from about 10AM till about 9PM) in that 2000 person tourney in which I finished 3rd.  $10 got me in and I walked away with around $1100 I think.
