I may be wrong but I think the Hastings train leaves from Charing Cross?

Possibly 2 hours....Not bad unless you're in a hurry.

Hastings services leave from London Victoria on Southern side and take roughly 2 - 2 and a half hours depending on calling pattern and time of day.  South Eastern Services take approx 90 mins to 2 hrs again depending on time of day and calling pattern.

Alternate routes are via Charing Cross / London Bridge station and take approx the same amount of time 90mins+
