As long as it takes.  It depends on where it was mailed from, what time of day, which post office, how it was mailed, and many other factors.  I live in a town in California that has 3600 people.  There is one post office.  The post office has 6 employees in the building and about the same number out delivering mail.  Compare this to, say, the Sears Building in Chicago, which has its own zip code and its own post office.  Which one will have better mail handling?  

So, the easy answer is "less than a week".
