state after withdrawal?

No answers please about the unproven theory touted as fact that depression etc is due to a chemical imbalance which can be corrected by drugs

  1. don't know iv on anty depression pills for the last two years and im still depresset most of the time

I hope within two weeks well that is what i was told i have just started to cut down on the tabs i take, every other day i  take one and can feel the diffrence think each person is indiviual and it will  depends on what drugs you have been given it will also only feel right if you are over and not still having the same problems as you first had, but as i say it is about 10 days sorry cant be more helpful take care x  

  3. It really depends on the medication, with some of the older neuroleptics the effects are irreversible, but if you're talking about more recent anti-depressants the effects reverse rapidly. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but there's such a huge range of psychiatric drugs and every individual's brain chemistry reacts differently.
