How long does it take the holes to close after getting wisdom teeth removed?

i got all 4 teeth out a week ago... and the holes are still big.. food keeps getting stuck in them... i have heard anywhere from 3 weeks to 9 months for the holes to close... does anyonw know how long it will take them to close to the point where stuff will stop getting stuck in them andi wont have to worry about it at all anymore?

I had all four of mine taken out two weeks ago and I still have the holes there right now. They were pretty big at first, and it looks a little smaller now so I'm guessing it's healing already. Everybody heals at a different rate. I have heard that it should take a couple months to close completely, but you may heal faster or slower. It really depends on you.
