How long does it take the moderator to approve my message?

I am a moderator of a group where all messages and new members need to be approved.  Since this group and its members are very important to me, I want to approve messages and new members as quickly as possible.  Since I work full-time and have other responsibilities, I am not always at home.  Whenever I am home, though, my computer is always on with the group's home page always open, and I have my moderator preferences set to receive email alerts whenever someone posts a message or wishes to become a member.  I keep my speakers way up loud so that even though I am not in front of the computer and doing housework around the house, etc., I can hear this alert, and it has been working out great for me.   diamond

Ir depends on when the group moderators check their group's messages that are pending approval. Some approve them quickly and some check and approve messages once or twice a day.  Messages that are not approved within 14 days are deleted automatically by Yahoo.

this greatly depends- on if they have a job, kids, company, appointments- simply sleeping in.  there is no standard set time for post approvals per groups.

This would totally depend on how the group was set up.  Generally within 24 hours is a good response time.  However; I have seen it take 3-4 days.  Good luck and enjoy your groups!

It depends on how frequently the owner and the moderators check their e-mails. But as Yahoo is regarded, Owners / moderators are given 14 days to approve members and/or messages.
