How long does it take to approve husband petition?

I am U.S citizen,and i got married wit pakistani,How long it takes petition to approve?i filed it 4 months,and still waiting?..

i really need a proper answer?so plz give me right answer?

and how long does the whole progress take?

country dependent   spouse visa  anywhere from 9 to 14 months 9-11 impacted  his birth country  it may take little longer to process his background
