How long does it take to be a ranger?

Im going to signed my contract at MEPS in a few days with the army. if I had an option 40 on my contract and i'm 11x, how long is it from signing your contract to reporting to OSUT, From graduating OSUT to reporting for airborne school (also, is the leave after basic mandatory?) , Grad. from airborne school to RIP?

The only reason I am even responding to this question is because I need the two points,. Otherwise, I really dont care...

alright 11x is a special forces contract not ranger.But if you are going ranger you will go to 13weeks of basic training and AIT,immediately after that you will go to 3 weeks of Airborne School(that's how i did it anyways),after Airborne school you should go to RIP.After that you should get leave and after leave you should arrive to your ranger battalion.

I have recently signed at Ft. Hamilton, NY. My Mos is 11x opt 40, it takes 13 weeks for both basic + ait. And my SFC. said Airborne is 3 weeks, RIP depends on if you fail or not and so is Ranger school. NOTE: 18x is SF
