  1. No very little exposure is not a risk to your health. The risk is generally considered long term to workers and others in the manufacturing who created products with a asbestos base, or uprooted asbestos based material like flooring with mastic or packing in window sills, or wall board material laden with asbestos or piping insulation. The problem is outside of manufacturing real exposure was in fraid material damages that became airborne in unventilated areas like pipe chases, walls, tunnels etc. If you were only limited to a hour or few then the exposure is very very slight. If for instance you were a child in kindergarten class and wall were damages and exposed asbestos material was constantly available for your young lungs to breathe then this is almost the same conditions as workers were faces with. I hope this helped you. Still it would not be unwise to have yourself checked out by a doctor specializing in lung diseases. I have had ovesite on asbestos abatement projects in institutions and schools.
