Okay so.. I want my BS in Nursing but I was wondering how long that would take with the nursing program included? Also, what about the associate's degree in nursing? How long is that with the program as well?

  1. A BS in nursing would take 5-6 years full time, and an AA would take 3-4. If you wanted to get finished sooner, you could take more pre- requisite classes at once, but you run the chance of getting bad grades.

Even though an associate's in nursing is sometimes called a 2 year degree, it doesn't actually take two years. The nursing program itself is two years long, but you have to take all the pre-requisites (the hardest being Organic Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, and Microbiology) before you apply. Also, all nursing schools are hard to get into, mostly the Community college ones. It might take a semester or more to actually get in a school.
