I've been trying to call for almost or over an hour. I think I have the right number. It doesnt say it on their website. I've heard the dj give requests while I've been calling. I'm calling right now at this minute (I have dsl) I've requested before but it's been a good while. I wanna find out if they have Panic At The Disco's new single, "Nine In The Afternoon." Is it ever like it for you too when you call the radio station?

  1. More than likely they are playing a voice tracked show.  If they haven't given a number out for you to call, then it would appear to me that it's a voice tracked show.  Everything is already pre-recorded and they might have pulled sound-bites from a central location or from sister stations to make the show sound more interesting.  I've seen it happen before, so it's not a surprise, although not as much as doing a week worth of shows in one day.

  2. It depends on the time of day as well. Check the website for an email address & try to send in Your request that way. Try to Google the station call letters with "phone number" too.

  3. It depends where you are, i live in Alaska and when we go to town where there is a radio station, it is really fast.

  4. Usually you have many people trying to call at the same time he is trying to do stuff in the studio so it get's hectic and usually it's only about 1 or 2 calls per song at most.. and usually about 5-7 lines comign into the studio in a city where say 200 are trying to call in a city of A million people

But yes it's like that almost everytime I've called a major market station
