How long does it take to charge 4 energizer AA 2500 mAh reachargable batteries?

As the question stated how long? please only good and helpfull answers the green light on my charger is on but i have been charging them for 7 hours and it still doesent turn off like the manual said it should please help me i dont want to overcharge the batteries.And dont say look at the light.

If you have a single charger that can supply only 500mA charging current. It will take 5 hours for one of the batteries to charge.

Charging time depends on your charger capacity. Just keep the batteries there. They wont be overcharged. If however, you need to use them, may be 7 hours is enough.
