How long does it take to conceive?

I'm in my early 20s, entering my 8th month of trying.. sooo discouraged.

How long does it take to get pregnant?

Specific statistics please.

On Average, it takes a woman 6 months to conceive.  (I actually went to my Gyno and asked him about it)... It took me about 2 months.  While every situation is different... (it depends on your ovulation, and how good his little swimmers are)... if you are trying to conceive.. wait 14 days after the end of your last cycle (this is when women generally ovulate)... Then have s*x every other day (Day 14, 16, 18)... When my doctor told me this, I cconceived that same month!  I hope that helps!  Good Lucks!  I am also in my early twenties... After 6 months, they usually start to look into fertility problems.... so you may want to see your doctor... But try what I told you first... it may work, you never know!!!

I guess it depends on the woman's body, it took me three mths of trying and it took my sister eight mths, so there no exact time frame every woman is different.
