  1. well I had my IUD out and missed my next period so I guess I got pregnant right away! Which was wicked, she's perfect.

    The only way to get pregnant - lots of s*x!

I can tell you that our 1st child was a surprise.  I was taking the pill daily (but not at the same time daily).  When we tried for number 2, it took 7 months of trying.  I had the Mirena placed after my 1st was born and then removed 1 year later.  There was a year and a half time span from the removal and trying to conceive (I had it removed b/c I'm one of the rare users who got an infection from it).  I can't say it took so long b/c of the Mirena but I do know that there were no other known reasons that it took a while to get pregnant.  I've always wondered if the Mirena had something to do with it.
