  1. It's 25 minutes per pound + 25 minutes

  2. are you frying it

  3. Depends on the cooking method, and size, whether whole or in pieces, bone-in or boneless.

    The simplest way to tell if chicken is done is to pierce the thickest piece to the bone with a sharp knife. If the juices run clear, it’s done. If the juices are tinged with pink, it needs more cooking.

    To be absolutely sure, you can insert an instant-read thermometer in the thickest part of the thickest piece almost, but not quite, to the bone. (The bone conducts heat differently and can give you a false reading.) The reading should be 140 degrees or more.

  4. If it is a whole chicken on a rotisserie then about 2 hours.  If it is cut up pieces of chicken, about 20 -25 minutes for dark meat and 15 - 20 for white meat.

  5. Times are for cut up chicken pieces.

    Bone in;

    20 minutes each side in a shallow pan with minimal oil

    15 minutes to deep fry.

    40 minutes per side on a grill (over ashen coals).

    80 minutes baked 350 degree oven

    Boneless;

    5-6 minutes each side in a shallow pan with minimal oil

    8 minutes to deep fry.

    15 minutes per side on a grill (over ashen coals).

    40 minutes baked 350 degree oven

    Give or take 3-5 minutes on any of these and just know that your chicken is ready once the juices run clear.

  6. I don't know but I love chicken over the fire!
