  1. 25 35 mins depends how fast u drive or traffic ?

  2. Usually less than an hour but there are so many variables it's well-nigh impossible to give an accurate figure.  Weather, time of day, midweek or weekend, accidents, roadworks.....you name it.  If it CAN happen then you're guaranteed that it WILL happen on the M8.

  3. Down the M8 about 50 mins if there is no traffic build up in the city centre.

  4. From George Square in Glasgow to Princes Street in Edinburgh is 44 miles. Much of this is covered by the M8.

But, within the City of Glasgow, the speed limit on the M8 is 50mph. But, shortly after leaving the city boundary, the M8 becomes the A8, on which there are extensive road works as it is being upgraded to a motorway.

An hour is a reasonable estimate to do the journey. You can shave 10 minutes off that time at very quiet times (like during the night), but, during the peaks you can easily ADD 20 minutes for the delays at one or both ends.

  5. which way? lol

  6. 45,7  miles, takes roughly 59 mins depending on the traffic, check out RAC route master to download up to date map

  7. 45Min's and its a straight road its when you are going into the city all the traffic lights?

  8. The problem with your question is where in the two cities do wish to travel between and at what time.

Outskirts to outskirts late evening good weather max speed on M8 35 minutes

centre to centre rush hour chucking with rain 2 hours!!! even more if there is an accident.

  9. Under an hour, it will really depend on where you're driving to and from as it can take longer to get out or into the cities than drive between them.

It's about 40 miles, but it can be pretty bad when you're off the Motorway or going across the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow..
