go to mapquest punch in your destination and it will give you the exact time and milage.

Well it's roughly 2000 miles in a straight line.  That is not figuring what roads you would have to take.  I would fly!

go to www.sct.gob.mx on the left side the very last option "traza tu ruta". Write in the starting city and the destination (within Mexico) and it will give you the $$$ on toll highways, the kilometers, and timing.

I would like to know also that information. I am planing to drive to MExico City from Washington DC and also would like to know if you have any idea how much you pay in tolls

how about you stay out of mexico?

I've gone from New York to Guatemala, by car, and it took a little over a week. So I say 5-6 days.
