  1. I live in Naples and have driven to rome lots of times. It takes me between 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 depending on traffic and how fast I am going. If I am going at least 100 mph which is what I do then about 1 1/2. This helps its about 200 km.

  2. About 3 to 4 hours with stops at the Autogrills

  3. 2 hours,but less I think

  4. A great source for driving directions in Europe is www.viamichelin.com. It tell you what the street signs will look like and give you the approximate time the journey will take.

If you will driving from Rome to Naples without the need to stop in any towns along the way I highly recommend taking the train. EuroStar trains between the cities are non-stop and run regularly. You do not want a car in Naples - many Italians avoid driving in this city!

  5. i'm ialian and i know that it take 2 hours and half by car .unfortunately on that higway there is always too much traffic that slow down you

  6. You could Mapquest the route to get the distance in miles. Calculate your average speed X miles to get time. Mapquest might even do it for you.

  7. It's about 200 km (125 miles) and the faster you can drive is 130 km/h... but well considering all factors, I think 2 hours is the right time.

btw, as someone else suggested, if you don't know naples, you'd better not drive in the city, it's like a jungle! :)

    bye!
