  1. i would say around 3years...it takes a while!

    Me and my partner have a child together who is a canadian citizen, and my partner is english...he still has to wait years...

    This is what you get for doing things legally hey!

First your fiancee has to apply to sponsor you to immigrate to Canada.  That can take several months and then you get permanent residency which is like the US green card.  After that, you have to live in Canada for at least 3 years and then you can apply for citizenship.  According to the immigration website, the average processing time for citizenship is around 13 months so I would say total, give it about 5 yrs.
