How long does it take to get a PA driver's license?

Hi, I'm over 18 and don't have a learner's permit yet. However, I know how to drive. What's the earliest time to take the skills test and once passed how long will it take for me to get my driver's license? thanks!!

Unless it's changed, after you receive your learner's permit, allow a few days, even though you already drive, before taking your driving test. The instructor will stamp your permit approved as soon as you pass and you will be legal to drive alone. Your actual license will be mailed to you, I think.
