How long does it take to get a UK Fiancee visa....?

I mean like, from the time you apply to the time you have it in your hands? Im so confused because I have heard things like 5 days to a year. Does anyone honestly know? Please I need help

In the USA it takes 5 business days to process the majority of mailed applications regardless of which visa you are applying for. If you have an in- person appointment, they aim to process all applications the same day, although this is not a guarantee. The five working processing time starts when all documentation required is present (if you're missing documentation it will obviously take longer).

So if you mail it in to them you're looking about 10 working days.

look up www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk.   They are the ones you will be dealing with and they give times for responses.  Hope someone else can actually tell you how long it took them.
