How long does it take to get a US passport these days?

  1. Less then 2 weeks, if you make an appointment at a Passport Agency.

    Around three weeks if you use expedited service.

    4-6 weeks for normal processing.

    It can take longer during the peak period (January - July).

  3. I just read that they are getting them out about two weeks after receiving them...NOT expedited.  So, if you figure about a month, you'll be golden.

  10. Upon last recent check at postal service headquarters, non expedited is about at least 3 months, plus.  Expedited was a racy 6 week minium.  I think that is even exagerated.
