How long does it take to get a approval for a I-485 and I-130? I already got the fingerprints just waiting now

I went for the fingerprinting on April 12, 2008, and i have been waiting ever since.

  1. Processing times for green cards can vary a lot, but on average it's between 6 and 12 months total. It took 7 months for me (and I had my biometrics in the 2nd month out of those 7). It could have been 5 or 6 but I had a minor problem and had to submit additional paperwork, and that delayed the entire process.

  3. it depends on where you filed. The norm after the biometrics are done is a year to eighteen months. Sometimes , it can take longer, depending on yur circumstances.You will need to go through an interview process. That will be the final benchmark. the green card should be mailed to you within 40 or so days. For Gods sake make sure they have your correct address.                  Good luck
