How long does it take to get a non driver photo ID in Georgia?

I will be going on a cruise in a couple weeks that requires both my passport and another form of government issued photo ID and go figure my drivers licence has expired. I'm an out of state college student that had a parent forget to mail me my renewal papers till 2 weeks before I leave so I figure just getting a state issued non drivers ID is probably the quicker way to go. Opinions?

You should be able to get it right away.  What I am curious about, is I know several people who only needed a passport.  They did not need another id to go with it.

It does not take long at all. Go to the DMV, tell them your situation and they should issue you one right then and there. If not it will take 2-3 business days.
