  1. "So in YOU case maybe seven weeks total."

If you are going to give someone a hard time about their spelling, you better make sure yours is flawless.

It could take anywhere from a few weeks to six months or more, depending on how hard you train. The minimum for the private pilot certificate in the US is 40 hours of flight time, and that's the bare minimum. If you went 3 hours a week, for example, it would take 13-14 weeks to get 40 hours. Most people go beyond the minimum, so you should try to fly consistently and frequently to minimize your costs and time.

  2. Depends on how soon you pass the written examination, and how often you fly.

The briefest I've heard of was 3 weeks.

It took me about 5 weeks.  I lived ½ mile from the airport, and tried to fly twice a day.

  3. well first you need to learn how to spell, based on your spelling that adds about two weeks. So in you case maybe seven weeks total.

  4. Private Licence - approx. 50 hours. 2 to 3 weeks

    Commercial Licence - (Single/Multi-engine ratings/Instrument Rating) approx 200-250 hours. 4 to 6 months.

The above schedules are for regular flying lessons almost on a daily basis. Ground subjects to be cleared during these times as well.
