  1. When you start boxing and get punched in the nose, and your nose starts to drip, and lands on your belt.

  2. no such thing. the only belts in boxing are in the professionals when a fight is for the title of a division

  3. u dont stupid

thats like martial arts n ****

  4. you can buy a red belt at anytime while boxing but not many clothes will look good with a red belt...

  5. a few weeks, i got mine 2weeks after my red&white belt..i got bored and quit at yellow belt

  6. I'm going out on a limb on this one, but are you talking about the IBF belt?  That is the only world title that is red- the WBA is black, the WBC is green, WBO is brown, and the TRUE Ring Magazine championship belt is red, white, and blue.  As for how long it takes to get an IBF belt, that depends on a lot of things.  The IBF as well as all of the other sanctioning bodies are corrupted, so as long as you have a fat enough wallet, then you can pretty much buy your way into a title fight.  The IBF is arguably the worst out of the 4 because it strips its titleholders so oftenly that in a 1 month period, it is guaranteed, that at least one of their "champions" will be stripped of his title.  Usually, it is because they do not want to face a mandatory bum that has not done anything to deserve a crack at the title.  The way that you SHOULD be able to get a belt is by beating the top contenders out there- thats the way that you win the linear and true championship belt, which is currently the Ring Magazine belt, but as I already pointed out- if you have enough money, then you can get a shot at a sanctioning body's title without having to wait very long.  Thats one of the reasons why you sometimes see fighters wearing patches that feature the sanctioning bodies on them, because they know that if they show them loyalty, their rankings will go up and they will be able to get a title shot sooner.

Fighter1987- the IBF belt is red, so there IS such a thing as a red belt in boxing.  It may not be like Karate, but the color of the belt is still red.

  7. I didn't think Boxing had any grading systems, of course Japanese martial arts like Karate and Kickboxing have the coloured belt system but the the order of colours change from club to club, at my kickboxing club it goes White, Red, Yellow and so on. So a red belt at my club is the first one you go for, so it doesn't take much training at all.

  8. When you go to a store and buy it.

I think you are referring to another form of fighting because at least in boxing there are no belts assigned other than ones for winning bouts.

And even in other martial arts it varies greatly so i cant even really speculate.
