How long does it take to get an ammended refund once it has been closed or processed?

The IRS said that my ammended return was closed on June 12th. But it isnt showing whether it was accepted or denied and I am curious to know if it was accepted how long will it take to issue me a check? Thanks

If your form 1040X is closed then that means it was processed you should receive your refund in about two or three weeks from the 12th of June.

The IRS website wheres my refund is not for amended returns.

Other than calling, there is absolutely no way of knowing the status of your amended return.  The where's-my-refund page is *not* updated.

I did that last year. Call the IRS and see if it was accepted. Usually what ever way you filed, online would have said accepted. Did you go back and check the website to make sure it did say accepted. If not call IRS. or check irs.gov. Also, it took me about 6 weeks to get my amended return. Good luck!
