It depends.  Where I live, Ohio, we don't get paper checks for unemployment.  We either get direct deposit or funds deposited to a debit card.  That usually takes about 2 days, I filed on Sunday and had the funds Tuesday.  I think you would have a paper check within a week, but you should check to see if there is an option to get the debit card or direct deposit in your state.
