How long does it take to get appointment at uk passport office?

Question

Im going to book a last minute holiday, which has to be before the 22nd sept. I stupidly put my passport through the washing machine a few months ago, so I need a replacement. It says on the passport office website it takes up to 2 weeks for an appointment which is no good, and i cant get it done in a day, as that doesnt apply to replacement passports. Just wandering if anyon has had an appointment recently and how long it took to get one.

just say you are an asylum seeker you will get one yesterday along with a free car/house and a job if you can speak english oops sorry they cant until in comes to writing out an application form but then again they still get help welcome to the uk and ask where is the free money
